Program Details: 

  • Selected RELP fellows are expected to participate in a week-long intensive program over Spring Break in Washington, DC, (March 24 – 29, 2019) and four mandatory preparatory workshops (tentatively scheduled for 1/16/19; 2/6/19; 2/27/19; and 3/13/18). There is also an optional 2-day mini-boot camp held in Sacramento later in the spring focused on sub-national policy-making. 
  • RELP fellows are responsible for covering their travel to/from Washington, DC. The Woods Institute covers all other expenses.

Who Should Apply:

    Graduate students and postdocs who:
  • Have a strong interest in policy-making as well as an environmental research focus.
  • Will maintain eligibility/active status through the 2018-19 academic year.
  • Can commit to program dates and travel requirements.
