Meghan Elizabeth Atallah

Electricity Policy Legal Fellow
Meghan is an Electricity Policy Legal Fellow in the Environmental and Natural Resources Law & Policy Program (ENRLP) researching novel solutions to grid expansion, transmission, and other electricity policy issues. She was previously a practicing attorney in the State of New Jersey, representing solar developers before the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and conducting legal research on electricity, renewable energy, and utility law matters. She graduated cum laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and received an Environmental Law Certificate alongside her J.D. in 2021.

Meghan also holds an M.A. from San Diego State University, in which she studied public policy issues and published her master’s thesis on federal regulatory issues regarding genetically modified food. Throughout her academic life, Meghan has held various paralegal positions in a range of law offices in New Mexico, California, and New York.
