Emily is an environmental engineer interested in the impacts of chemicals on human health and the environment. She received her Ph.D. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where she researched the formation and fate of low molecular weight compounds in potable water reuse systems. Prior to that, she received her M.Sc. in Environmental Chemistry from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland, and her B.S. in Environmental Engineering from The Ohio State University.
