AGU logo

Thousands of researchers across the globe will attend the American Geophysical Union (AGU) annual fall meeting either in-person or hybrid virtually  to share new findings  on pressing environmental problems, including water pollution, climate change, and more. The conference, which is the largest gathering of earth and space scientists in the world,  will be held in-person in New Orleans, Louisiana as well as online everywhere from 13-17 December. Stanford faculty, students and scholars are presenting their work in connection with fellow scientists and researchers from various disciplines in the earth and planetary sciences. For the first time, AGU is piloting a hybrid format where researchers can participate both in person and remotely to support the exchange of ideas and foster collaborations.
