A symposium hosted jointly by the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment and Bio-X focused on how environmental change and human activity are altering evolution. The goal was to bring together speakers from different fields and parts of the University in order to bring this subject into the spotlight for our faculty, students and community.

Diverse aspects of this theme from epidemiology to the oceans were considered in 30 minute presentations by Stanford faculty, including Deborah Gordon, Gary Schoolnik, Eric Lambin and Barbara Block.Closing remarks by Donald Kennedy were followed by a Networking Reception and a Poster Session.
