A California Climate Change Policy Workshop held in May, 2006 was designed to provide an opportunity for dialogue between researchers and decision-makers on key policy issues relating to climate change. Senior level decision-makers from government, industry and environmental organizations joined with Stanford, Berkeley and Davis faculty for a full agenda of presentations and vigorous discussions on critical topics, including: transportation emissions reduction strategies; promoting innovation and investment in clean technology; market-based policy approaches; strategies for communicating about climate change and encouraging public support; and political challenges.
