Rosamond Naylor is the Director of the Center on Food Security and the Environment, the William Wrigley Senior Fellow at the Freeman-Spogli Institute for International Studies and the Woods Institute of the Environment, a Professor of Environmental Earth Systems Science, and an Associate Professor (by courtesy) at Stanford University. Her research focuses on the environmental and equity dimensions of intensive agricultural systems, food security dimensions of low-input systems, the environmental and food security dimensions of the expanding aquaculture sector, and the role of  policy in the world food economy.  She has been involved in a number of field-level research projects around the world, and serves on the Advisory Boards for the Beijer Institute in Stockholm, the Aldo Leopold Leadership Program, and The Nature Conservancy (California chapter). She also serves on the international advisory board for the United Nation's Sustainable Development Solutions Network, introduced by U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon in the fall of 2012.
