Ezra Garrett is the Vice President of Community Relations and Chief Sustainability Officer for Pacific Gas and Electric Company. He is also the Executive Director of The PG&E Corporation Foundation. Garrett is responsible for maximizing the impact, reach and visibility of PG&E's community investments and partnerships, employee volunteerism, and corporate responsibility and sustainability program.
Garrett's 12 years with PG&E includes roles of increasing responsibility within the Government Relations, Energy Efficiency, and Customer Care organizations. In addition, Garrett spent two years with top retailer Target Corporation, leading its community relations efforts for the western United States.
Garrett holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of California, Berkeley. He is an active supporter of the community, currently serving on the boards of the Public Affairs Council, Leadership San Francisco, the Latino Community Foundation, the Association of Corporate Contributions Professionals and is also a member of the Contributions Council of the Conference Board. Garrett has previously served on the boards of Mission Housing Development Corporation and the San Mateo County Economic Development Association. In 2012, he was named as one of the Bay Area's "Top 40 under 40 Emerging Business Leaders" by the San Francisco Business Times.
