Chantalle Clarke-Samuels is the Director at the Belize Coastal Zone Management Authority and Institute (CZMAI). She has held this position since November 2013. She oversees CZMAI's coastal management and technical research programs. She also serves on several national resource management committees in Belize. In her previous capacity as Coastal Planner at the Institute, she coordinated the process for developing Belize's first national integrated coastal zone management plan, which was supported by a broad range of national and international stakeholders. Clarke-Samuels holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Environmental Science from Grinnell College.
