Students for a Sustainable Stanford hosted Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson at a fireside chat moderated by Dr. Emily Polk for the 9th annual Schneider Memorial Lecture on February 18, 2021 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. PST.

Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson is a marine biologist, policy expert, and Brooklyn native. She is founder of Urban Ocean Lab, a think tank for the future of coastal cities, and co-founder of The All We Can Save Project. Find her @ayanaeliza.

 

Presented by Students for a Sustainable Stanford, the Schneider lecture is held annually in honor of Dr. Stephen H. Schneider, Stanford professor and world-renowned climate scientist who passed away in 2010. Professor Schneider is survived by his widow, Terry Root.
