Joseph Shapiro is an assistant professor of economics at Yale University. He is an environmental economist whose research focuses on trade and the environment, adaptation to environmental change, and water pollution regulation. He received a BA from Stanford, Masters degrees from Oxford and LSE as a Marshall Scholar, and a PhD in Economics from MIT.
