Sara Knox's research and training is in biometeorology, ecosystem ecology, and hydrology, and her work focuses on soil-plant-atmosphere interactions. Sara combines micrometeorological measurements with remote sensing and modeling to understand the physical, biological and chemical processes that control trace gas fluxes between the land surface and the atmosphere. Much of her work to date has focused on measuring and modeling water, energy and trace gas fluxes in restored and natural wetlands and agriculture.
