Jeremy Goldhaber-Fiebert's research focuses on complex policy decisions in health and medicine: how to improve population health given the reality of budgetary and other resource constraints. He is keenly interested in applying a model-based, decision-analytic framework to these problems as they relate to a range of infectious and non-communicable diseases in both developed and developing countries. To do so, he constructs, calibrates, and validates computer-based models of diseases in populations that allow him to consider the health, economic, and distributional implications of alternative policies.
