The Woods Institute has created a series of Strategic Collaborations designed to tackle the major sustainability challenges facing the planet. These exciting new partnerships bring together top Stanford researchers and prominent leaders from business, government, and the non-profit sector to develop practical solutions to real-world problems:

• Program on Food Security and the Environment. This collaboration with Stanford's Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies addresses the critical global issues of food security, poverty, and environmental degradation by generating innovative and policy-relevant solutions.
• Natural Capital Project. This international project, a partnership with the World Wildlife Fund and The Nature Conservancy, seeks a future in which conservation is mainstream-that is, economically attractive and commonplace through out the world.
