Michael Mastrandrea focuses on scientific questions with political and societal implications, and their accurate and effective translation for the general public and policy makers in particular. His research involves developing methods by which to represent the uncertainties inherent in projections of future climate change and climate impacts, and tools to assess the implications of climate policy decisions in terms of risk management.
